This document is to explain the files that are included with the ColorTab installation and what each of them are for.

Included in the ColorTab installation are:

ColorTab.dll
This is the file that holds the control and is also the file that is distributed with your application.
This is also the file that is added to the Visual Studio toolbox.

ColorTab.PocketPC.asmmeta.dll
This file is used by the Visual Studio designer to arrange the properties appropriately and to show pop up help (method description etc..) during development.
This file is not distributed with your project, or added to the Visual Studio toolbox.

ColorTabDesigner.dll
This file is used by the designer for the additional functionality included with th ColorTab control. It facilitates the AddTab and RemoveTab functionality via the context menu in the designer.
This file is registered within the Global Assembly Cache (GAC) during the install, or during compilation of the ColorTab.Designer project using the ColorTab control source code.
This file is not distributed with your project, or added to the Visual Studio toolbox.
